School Uniform

Please be aware that in all classes but especially in Reception, children have lots of access to being outside. This may be through play, work or fitness (Daily Mile or similar) Please make sure that shoes are sensible and sturdy. Think of a uniform as a work-kit that will get lots of wear and tear

Day to Day Uniform:

  • Navy Sweatshirt or cardigan with or without a school motif
  • Pale blue shirt with or without a school motif
  • Navy blue or black skirt, trousers or shorts
  • Black shoes (or completely black trainer-type shoes with no large sport logo)
  • Simple small blue or black hair accessories
  • All hair should be tied up/back as soon as it reaches shoulder length
  • A sunhat/cap for sunny days.

PE and Games Kit:

  • Plain black shorts or skirt
  • Plain white T-shirt
  • Pumps or trainers for outside
  • White sports socks
  • A black or navy tracksuit for outside PE and games in colder weather. It is helpful
to pop a spare pair of underwear in your child’s P.E kit for emergencies
  • Children in Y3 go swimming with school – pupils need their own swimming kit –
either trunks (of the short, non-baggy kind) or a one piece bathing suit and
    swimming cap.

Children come to school wearing their outside kit on P.E days.
